I made these dramatic red and gold earrings to celebrate those born in the Year of the Dragon.
According to the Chinese zodiac, those born in the Year of the Dragon are energetic, charismatic and eccentric.
In an effort to depict Dragon traits, I've bonded golden dragon plaques to deep red 45mm (about 1-3/4") diameter capiz shell discs.
Both their colors and design give these beauties a distinctly Asian flair.
Each disc is suspended from gold tone lever back findings.
