The lovely vintage shield-shaped West German pressed glass pendant was made in the late 1940s.
I've teamed it up with Czech faceted glass beads that have ornately 'carved' and silver-foiled ends (called 'cathedral' beads), and firepolish crystal.
The pendant dangles about 1-3/4 inches below the strand.
The hook and extender closure gives the strand a working length of from 16-1/4 to 18-1/2 inches.
The accent pieces are Indonesian sterling silver, while the hook in the closure is handmade pewter.
