Here's an understated way to show your patriotism on Independence Day (or any other time, for that matter): it's a simple 19 inch long strand of shining old gold coloured glass seed beads with triple dangle of three Murano glass stars. The largest of the three measures 20mm point-to-point, and is clear glass, alight with gold foil as only the artisans of Venice could make it. The smaller stars are 17mm across, and are a deep cobalt and a rosy crimson, respectively. They, too, are richly gold foiled. The longest tassel element ends about three inches below the strand. Each earring features three 17mm stars, one in each of the three colours. The earrings end about 2-1/2 inches from the tops of their 14kt gold fill French hooks.
