I think this brooch looks like the stylized flowers used in Japanese design in the 1950s.The centre is a pointed jet black Swarovski crystal, circled by flat trapezoidal Czech glass beads in cobalt blue and jet black.The outer ring is comprised of 3mm jet black Austrian crystals, tiny silvery seed beads, and faceted jet black seed beads.The brooch is about 2-3/8" in diameter and about 1/2" thick (measuring from the back of the pin to the peak of the centre crystal).The pinback has been securely bonded and stitched to the back, and all the layers of backing have been both bonded and stitched together.According to the fashion magazines, pins and brooches are THE accessory this season; and we've got them, here at SPARKLE PLENTY.All of our one of a kind and limited edition artisan beaded jewelry is individually handcrafted in our studio in Los Angeles, California.
