'Millefiore' means 'thousand flowers,' and the alabaster beads in this bracelet seem to have at least that many dancing across their surfaces.Each bead was individually made over an open flame, so no two beads are exactly alike.They were made in Japan in the early to mid-1950s.I've spaced them with smaller beads of flame-coloured glass, and with tiny peridot green seed beads.The 7-3/4" bracelet closes with a charming gunmetal rose-motif box clasp, to which I've added a dangle.Such ultra-feminine chic could only come to you from SPARKLE PLENTY.
