The bear totem is quite large: about 32mm tall, 10mm thick, and 55mm from snoot to tail. It is still possible to see the marks of the carver's tools, even though the pendant has been polished till it's smooth to the touch and shiny to the eye. The serpentine stone is quite lovely, with dapplings of dark green and charcoal. I've suspended it from 21-1/2" of Kambaba jasper and lava stone that co-ordinate beautifully with the colours in the bear. The clasp is a gold plate toggle, sized and styled for a man's hands.
