The oval in the center of the pendant looks like intricately carved lavender jade.

Even on close inspection it's difficult to tell that it's really moulded glass, made in Japan in the late 1940s.

I've surrounded it with an embroidery of tiny freshwater pearls, and golden and lavender seedbeads; and added a graduated fringe with vintage glass teardrops that also look like lavender jade.

The 16" strand features matching seedbeads, and closes with a vintage goldplate floral catch, set with a tiny faux pearl.

It's absolutely exquisite, and it's absolutely from SPARKLE PLENTY.
