The classic design of the tam o'shanter never goes out of style.
This lovely example was handmade in Ireland of a thick woven material, has a wide (1-1/4") velvet band, and is fully lined.
I've embroidered the velvet band with a selection of Siam ruby red and light Siam vintage crystal roses montees; vintage Swarovski crystal Siam ruby marguerite (flower-shaped) beads; and Christmas-tree green seed beads in swirling patterns.
Although I had the yule on my mind when I made it (and the matching choker), it's lovely to wear any time of year!
Of course it couldn't have come?from any place but SPARKLE PLENTY!
