The flame colour Swarovski calls 'hyacinth' is among their most dramatic and intense. Even though its appearance in this set is as the smallest of the beads, it makes its presence felt. The diamante beads are made of brass enameled in white and flame, and set with Swarovski opaque white crystal rhinestones. These beads hail from the early 1950s. Also making an appearance are contemporary opaque white and flame Czech firepolish crystals and white rounds whose aurora boreale finish reflects the flame colour of the surrounding beads. The 20" strand closes with an ornate old gold pewter hook set; and the matching earrings dangle 2-1/2" from the tops of their gold fill French hooks.
