The Egyptian-patterned polymer clay beads are the work of the talented folks at Blue Chili Designs. The beads have been fashioned by layering different colours of polymer clay in cylinders called "canes," and then slicing the canes and forming the resulting patterned pieces into the beads you see. As difficult as it is to describe the process, it is far more difficult to make the beads ... but these are fine examples of the craft. I've added blue unakite and golden brown tiger iron beads that match the colours in the polymer clay beads perfectly. The result is a 17" strand with a pendant that drops 3-3/4". Very different (in fact, unique), and sure to get the wearer noticed, this necklace is well-priced, too! It's another bargain beauty from SPARKLE PLENTY!
