Here's the first of our soft beaded handbags.I've sewn this one in the shape of a flowerpot with tendrils of ivy growing up out of it, and added a trio of ribbon roses whose petals and leaves I've beaded.The bag closes with a pair of sturdy leather drawstrings -- pink on one side, green on the other -- with wooden beads on their ends. To help ensure that nothing leaves the bag unless its owner wants it to, I've made the drawstrings a snug fit in the casing.The handle is firmly attached to the base of the bag, and peeks in a graceful curve above the drawstring.
