The super-shiney black and emerald plaid taffeta I've used to make this bag looks for all the world like gift wrap. It enhances the illusion of the hand bag's shape: a 5" square by 6" tall gift box. The lid opens with an easy tug of the black grosgrain ribbon loop ... which is embellished with (what else?) a hand beaded button. To hold your belongings securely within, each side of the lid attaches to the box with a snap fastener. The 48" long strap is made of jet, emerald and aqua glass beads, strung on super-sturdy nylon coated metal cable. All in all, it's a fabulous novelty hand bag from SPARKLE PLENTY.
