The gloves are made of ultra-thin, buttery soft black kid, and are marked 'France.'
They are quite small: I'd judge them to be a size 6 or 6-1/2; and laid flat measure 18" from the tip of the middle finger to the further edge of the cuff.
I've embellished the backs with rows of vintage crystal roses montees in a blue-green aurora boreale colour, between which I've strung swags of matching Swarovski crystal bicones and sterling silver beads.
Talk about biker chic!
I must confess that the design was inspired by an early episode of 'Law & Order' (so early that Michael Moriarty was still the DA), only those gloves had swags of chain, and were made from the leather of unborn calves. Yechchch.
These gloves are vintage kid from the 1950s, so no animals were killed RECENTLY.
Somehow, that makes them seem a bit ... well ... kindlier, doesn't it?
