These fluted deep purple beads were made in Japan in the early 1950s.
I've teamed them up with large mauve freshwater pearls, smaller white freshwater pearls, and LOTS of BRIGHT silver plate accents.
The necklace is about 16-1/2" long, and the earrings dangle a hair less than 2" from the tops of their European back findings.
Lovely colour combo, wearable in every season.
