The focal bead in the pendant is by Cheryl Harris of Cheryl's Art. Nobody -- BUT NOBODY -- does polymer clay applique work any better than does Miss Cheryl. I know it's difficult to believe, but there is no paint involved in the making of these beads. They are the result of an intricate exercise in combining and layering different colours of clay into logs, and then slicing them so that the finished product looks like veined leaves!

I've added the big pewter beadcaps, and the smaller sterling silver ones, too; plus vintage Swarovski crystal to match the olive greens, and darker brown shades in the polymer clay pendant.

The light olivine bicones are vintage West German crystal.

The 19" strand closes with an ornate pewter hook set.
