Here's a big, sparkly brooch made with vintage Swarovski crystal rose givre mountings and beads.
The term 'givre' refers to elements that have the rose colour swirled into the clear base.
There are also some solid colour beads here: vintage West German glass, and contemporary Czech firepolish, Japanese seed beads and tiny Swarovski crystal bicones.
They're all intricately woven together and attached to sturdy silver coloured metal filigree pieces, to which I've bonded a pinback.
About 2-3/8" in diameter, and eyecatching without being bold about it, this brooch is undeniably feminine.
