Perhaps if Scarlett O'Hara hadn't been in such a hurry to get through all that Spanish Moss and back to Tara, she'd have stopped to admire the flowers along the way.What she saw might very well have resembled this necklace, with its rose quartz blooms amid vines and leaves of green aventurine and stalks of smokey quartz and golden brown glass seed beads. Those big rose quartz flowers are about 1-5/8" in diameter; and, as for your next question: yes, the necklace does have a bit of a heft to it. It has been engineered in such a way that it is quite well-balanced, and our official SPARKLE PLENTY test team reports that this even distribution of weight makes it quite easy to wear. The longest fringe elements are in the front (naturally), and end about 3" below the double strand. The 16-1/2" strand closes with a gold clad rose motif clasp. Poor old Scarlett never had a necklace like this, and had to content herself with chasing after Ashley and making everyone else miserable. This should be a lesson to us all.
