The incredible blue-violet colour is only enhanced by the pendant's size: nearly 2" long by 1-1/2: at its widest; and by the cut: a kite-shape with a slight twist to it, with large, clean diamond facets on both sides. It's unbelievably eye-catching. As Swarovski doesn't make beads in this colour (the pendant comes from their Strass chandelier collection, as one can tell from the tiny beehive logo etched into it), I've used contemporary Swarovski 6mm violet round and 4mm tanzanite bicone crystals in the pendant hanger and strand. I've also used 8mm round vintage West German lilac crystal with a rich purple cloud floating in it, and a silver half coat; and the palest pink satin seed beads imaginable. Along with the daisy spacers there's a pewter Victorian style toggle clasp. The strand is about 18-1/2" long, and the pendant dangles 2-3/4".
