Here's a bit of a different necklace: an image sealed between a layer of matte black polymer clay and a clear glass face.The image is of a brightly plumaged bird (probably not a thrush but the less alliterative partridge) and a thistle against a craggy background.I've suspended this from a multi-strand necklace of round wooden and gem-cut firepolish crystal beads in co-ordinating colours.The 18" strand closes with an ornate pewter hook set.It's an extraordinarily lovely piece, and quite comfortable into the bargain.
