Bound together by a quartet of brass spiralled 'Lion's eyes,' this 7-1/2 foot long lariat is more like a beaded scarf than a necklace. The leather cords have been dyed in vibrant shades of rose, peridot and an olivey-gold. I've added strands of glass seed beads in matching and co-ordinating colours. It has all the versatility one expects from a lariat, and a great deal more. The brass and leather combined with the glass gives this piece a vaguely ethnic look ... and a distinctly beautiful look.
