The smooth opaque glass stones set in the vintage silver-tone filigree pendant are on the green side of turquoise.
The 8mm firepolish crystals in the strand match perfectly, while the 6mm pale peach alabaster firepolish contrast prettily; both are vintage West German beads.
In addition, the strand features contemporary Czech firepolish crystal in a combination of opaque and transparent greens; Swarovski 4mm white opal bicone crystals; tiny silver plate faceted seed beads; and an ornate pewter hook set.
The pendant is a tad more than 1-3/4" in diameter, and the strand is 18-1/2" long.
The pendant began life as a brooch -- perhaps in the 1950s or 1960s -- which I found broken at an estate sale.
I've removed what remained of the pinback and polished the back of the pendant smooth.
I had to take it down to the underlying brass; but I've given it three coats of lacquer to seal it thoroughly.
It has made into a beautiful pendant that deserves a new life in a new home. Yours, perhaps?
It's another beauty rescued and restored to life by SPARKLE PLENTY!
