Heliotrope is one of Swarovski's most beautiful effects colours.

It flashes deep purples and ultramarines in different lights.

I've taken different sizes of flower-shaped beads called "marguerites" and wired trios of them to form floral roundels, each of which I've flanked with sapphire crystal elongated bicones, Indonesian silver beadcaps, and smaller sapphire crystals.

The marguerites in the centre roundel are 12mm; those in the roundels to either side of it are 10mm; and the outer roundels have 8mm marguerites.

With the silvery seed bead spacers and the hook and extender closure, the strand has a working length of from 16-1/2" to 18-1/4".
