Beautiful long blue opal glass beads from 1930s Czechoslovakia gleam and glow in this utterly beguiling tassel necklace. I've added some contemporary faceted white opal glass (sometimes called 'opalite'), fresswater pearls, and blue iridescent seed beads. The strand is about 20" long, and closes with a dainty sterling silver hook set. The longest fringe element ends about 2-1/4" below the strand. Some necklaces make their point by whispering rather than by shouting; this is one of them. Naturally, it's from SPARKLE PLENTY.
