The lovely pendant bead is vintage West German, probably from the early 1950s.It has a fluted silver-foiled back that causes it to flash shades of sapphire and pale green-aqua.The firepolish crystal beads match the pendant perfectly, both for colour and for sparkle, although I believe the beads may be of slightly earlier manufacture.I've added lots of Indonesian sterling silver beads and findings to make a 2-1/2" long pendant; and a strand whose hook and extender closure gives it a working length of from 18" to 19-1/4".The earrings dangle about 2" from the tops of their Turkish sterling silver hook findings.With its incredible colour and Victorian style, this set's an heirloom waiting to happen!It's from SPARKLE PLENTY, of course.All of our one of a kind and limited edition artisan beaded jewelry is individually handcrafted in our studio in Los Angeles, California.
