The vintage Czech pendant is made of intricately wrought gold tone metal set with velvety jade green pressed glass. The piece is almost certainly from the 1930s, and is as sturdy as it is beautiful ...a lucky thing, since it does double duty as both the focal point and the clasp! The tongue of the clasp is stamped (as nearly as I can make out the tiny lettering): "MADE IN ZECHOSLOV." I've used jade green crystal beads in the strand, along with small faceted sea green glass roundels, and golden seed beads.
