The three amethyst focal beads are 14mm and 12mm long respectively, and are machine cut on both sides in a chequerboard pattern for maximum sparkle. The crystal is very old: perhaps from as long ago as 1910, and certainly no newer than 1940; it is, however, in PERFECT condition. Cut in the shape of a circular cone, the crystal graduates from 4mm to 7mm long, with a corresponding size change in width. The crystals are spaced with tiny 3mm round amethyst beads, while the amethyst focals are flanked by 3mm sterling silver beads. The approximately 18" strand closes with a sterling silver "S" hook.
