The three amethyst focal beads are 14mm and 12mm long respectively, and are machine cut on both sides in a chequerboard pattern for maximum sparkle.
The crystal is very old: perhaps from as long ago as 1910, and certainly no newer than 1940; it is, however, in PERFECT condition.
Cut in the shape of a circular cone, the crystal graduates from 4mm to 7mm long, with a corresponding size change in width.
The crystals are spaced with tiny 3mm round amethyst beads, while the amethyst focals are flanked by 3mm sterling silver beads.
The approximately 18-inch strand closes with a sterling silver 'S' hook.
It's beautiful; it's unique; it's from SPARKLE PLENTY, of course.
