Please look at the close-up scan for an idea of the vibrant colours that appear on both sides of the pendant -- burgundy, rose, violet, emerald, peridot, glowing peach, and fiery copper -- all against an ivory background. Truly, Mr. Peacock is absolutely justified in being proud of his plumage. He's suspended from 26" of matching pearlized glass and gold plate beads (I'll happily shorten the strand to a buyer's specifications). The clasp is a gold plate hook set. There's the tiniest bit of rubbing on one side, so I've lowered the price dramatically. Rubbing or no, it's a spectacular pendant necklace. FYI, according to Indian legend the peacock's harsh cry came about after he looked in the lake and saw how beautiful he was, then looked down and saw how ugly his feet were. I suppose I'd have squawked, too. We're proud of our plumage here at SPARKLE PLENTY!.
