The lovely vintage shield-shaped West German pressed glass pendant was made in the late 1940s. I've teamed it up with Czech faceted glass beads that have ornately "carved" and silver-foiled ends (called "cathedral" beads), and firepolish crystal. The pendant dangles about 1-3/4" below the strand. The hook and extender closure gives the strand a working length of from 16-1/4" to 18-1/2". The accent pieces are Indonesian sterling silver, while the hook in the closure is handmade pewter. It's absolutely lovely, it's absolutely unique, and it's absolutely from SPARKLE PLENTY.
