Oh, this rich, rosey coral colour!

The shimmery copper veining in each handcrafted vintage lampwork bead was made by adding crushed quartz to the molten glass: all the elements in the quartz burn away except the microscopic copper deposits; this residue is referred to as "aventurine," and is particularly effective with the colour of these beads.

The strand is about 18" long, and features sienna goldstone (itself a product of the aventurine-in-glass process) and Venetian lampwork beads, as well as faceted glass bicones in a coral colour that matches the vintage Venetian beads perfectly.

Even the tiny spacer beads are goldstone!

The clasp is an antique brass bow hook.

The pendant drops about 2-1/4" below the strand, and features high-quality vintage brass stampings.
