The round crystal drop was machine cut in West Germany in the late 1940s or early 1950s. It is about 1" in diameter. I've suspended it from a gold plate finding which is a 1" square formed by four hearts; and bonded a vintage clear unfoiled rhinestone in the centre. The length of the entire pendant is 2-7/8". The 15-1/2" strand features several different styles of vintage clear West German crystal beads, including bicones, the "rocky road" cut, and the "stair step" cut. The larger beads are spaced with sparkling golden seed beads, and the clasp is a gold plate hook set. Such a simply elegant pendant necklace would have to come from SPARKLE PLENTY!
