The stars of the show here are the wonderful vintage satin grey lampwork beads, with all the stylized rose-and-vine work appliqued on their surfaces. Each bead is an individual work of art. The short/fat beads are about 5/8" long, and about that wide on each of their 3 sides. the long/skinny beads are more like 1-1/2" by a bit less than 1/2"; they, too, are 3-sided. I've added vintage rose-pink West German firepolish crystal, plus contemporary Swarovski rose alabaster and blue zircon bicone crystals and tiny golden seed beads to make a 19" strand. The ornate hook set -- like the bead caps and roundels -- is gold plate over pewter. So lovely, so different ... it must be from SPARKLE PLENTY.
