The hair sticks themselves measure about 4-3/4" long, and are made of a smooth reddish wood. I've added pewter fleur-de-lis embellishments at the tops, and from those I've suspended dangles of Swarovski crystal vintage vitrail medium beads. Vitrail medium is an effects colour that flashes dramatic shades of green, gold and fuchsia. I've used fuchsia seed beads in the dangles to mimic the fuchsia in the crystal beads. The longer of the fringe elements in each hair stick is a tad longer than 3-1/2".The crystal beads measure from 6mm to 10mm.
