To make this one of a kind beadwork necklace, Ive painstakingly sewn a gazillion little itty-bitty glass beads into place one at a time.

The center of each stylized peacock eye is a peacock blue glass drop, around which concentric bands of black, gold and midnight blue seed beads have been stitched.

I completed the beadwork necklace by stitching the various peacock eyes together and adding a long beaded fringe to the larger central eye.

The entire process took well over 100 hours, which -- I think -- more than justifies the price Im asking for the beadwork necklace.

The beadwork necklace measures about 15 in length and closes with an oval hook style clasp.

The center of the necklace measures roughly 5 from top of the peacock eye to the bottom of the longest fringe element.

Sure its a bit more than youd pay for just any necklace; but this is something EXTRA special perhaps for that extra-special someone on your holiday gift list?

In the November Birthstone Necklace, faceted citrine gemstones take center stage in both the pendant and the strand.

The filigree sterling silver teardrop pendant is about 1-5/8" at its widest by 2-1/8" long, not counting the bail.

The pendant of the November Birthstone Necklace is set with a beautifully faceted 20 x 14mm teardrop-shaped citrine stone.

The pendant is kept from being overly heavy by having a concave back.

The strand of the November Birthstone Necklace features faceted quartz nuggets, plus faceted and smooth citrine beads, spaced with pearly white seed beads.

The roughly 19" long strand closes with a sterling silver hook set that is bezel-set with a pair of faceted citrine stones.

In addition to being the birthstone for November, citrine is the stone traditionally symbolizing the 13th wedding anniversary.

Citrine is also associated with the planet Mercury, and is a secondary stone associated with the zodiac sign Gemini.
