The 10mm jet black lampwork beads were made in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s at the latest.
Each is unique, as it has been handmade over an open flame, so expect slight variations in size and shape.
Expect NO variations in beauty or quality, however.
Each has tiny pale pink and mauve stylized flowers and pale green leaves floating in its depths.
The bias-drilled flat square glass pearls with which I've flanked the lampwork beads match the flowers to perfection.
The larger beads are spaced with the palest of pale pink silver-lined seed beads.
A lovely ornate square toggle clasp, strung on the bias to match the pearl beads, completes the 17" strand.
This anthem to art deco is brought to you by SPARKLE PLENTY, of course.
